Feminism Now! Convention

In July of 2026, we convened dozens of feminists from across the country in D.C. for the inaugural Feminism Now! Convention, a powerful weekend of feminist community-building, learning, dreaming, and strategizing.

On Day One, we brought together our members and chapter leaders to build relationships with each other, dig deep into our theories of change and current campaigns, and map out how we are going to win gender justice victories for our communities. We broke bread together, created powerful art to bring back to our local organizing, watched the women's basketball all star game, and built a beautiful space of connection, empowerment, and action.

On Day Two, we convened organizational leaders across movements for critical conversations on feminist visions of abolition, survivor justice, antimilitarism, de-incarceration, immigrant justice, and building a feminist multiracial, working people’s democracy. Together, we dreamed about the feminist futures our communities deserve, and how we collectively build those futures. Alongside our partners, we’re building joint struggle to fight for a feminism that is rooted and a feminism that wins.

Thank you to our partners at Movement for Black Lives, HEART to Grow, Palestinian Feminist Collective, me too. International, Free DC, Black Alliance for Just Immigration, Get Free, Sunrise Movement, United States Students Association, ERA Coalition, Rising Majority, Free MN, and Black Mass for joining us for Day Two.

Our members came out of the Feminism Now! Convention with the clarity, alignment, and skills needed to build intersectional gender justice across the country. This fall, we’re bringing our campaigns across the country to reinstate gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth, backfill funding cuts to abortion clinics, demand justice and repair for survivors, and demand our government fund our communities, not detention, militarism, and genocide. We’re also bringing our Feminist Care and Feminist Voter Power Project programs to provide material support to our communities and mobilize our peers to the polls this November.
