Feminist Care: Mutual Aid for the People

Feminist Care is a mutual aid program by Feminist Generation. Feminist Care is a grassroots program that provides essential items with dignity and care to students and unhoused community members. We hand out water, snacks, and menstrual products, and other products to anyone in need.

At school campuses we also distribute safe sex products to support bodily autonomy and sexual health. Rooted in feminist values of equity and mutual support, our goal is to break down stigma, meet basic needs, and build stronger, more compassionate communities through solidarity, not charity.

Feminist Care is where we collaboratively exchange resources for common benefit with and by members of our local communities. As feminists, we believe that the systems of destruction and competition that currently define our country must be replaced with support, reparations, restoration, and redistribution. We share, because our liberation is bound together.
