Feminist Generation is a membership-based organization uniting young people across the country to build intersectional gender justice. Our work is strongest and most powerful when we unite people in community at the local level.

Our chapters form a vast national network of young feminists organizing at the local, state, and national level. Together, our chapters share resources, skills, strategies, campaigns, events, actions, and mutual aid to meet the needs of our communities. When all of our members, chapters, and committees work together with a unified message and shared goals and demands we make real tangible change.

  • Recruit, educate, and train young feminists and build a local feminist community;
  • Organize for gender, racial, repro, and queer justice on the school, city, state, and federal level through direct action, legislative advocacy, mutual aid, and more;
  • Collaborate with chapters across the country and rally community support for national, movement-wide Campaigns.

Feminist Generation chapters have access to resources, support, and community from the larger movement to carry out transformative feminist organizing. Whether you are new to organizing or have been organizing for years, we've got you, and we're ready to build our generation’s feminist movement with you.

All Feminist Generation chapters undergo a 4-week orientation and training program that prepares chapter leads and launches chapters. The program is about ~3 hours/week and runs a few times a year. The next program begins the week of October 26th.
